Cost: $15.00 per person made out to the Rockland Coast Guard City Committee, and sent to: Adra Lovley, Jr., 8 Point View Lane, Owls Head, Maine 04854 (all proceeds are for the work of the Rockland Coast Guard City Committee in supporting local Coast Guard personnel and families) Registration Forms Available: July 26, 2010 on the Rockland Coast Guard City Website, at The Maine Lighthouse Museum, 1 Park Drive, Rockland, or at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland, Maine A cloth number will be provided for each participant Water will be available for each participant Volunteers will be posted along the route Awards given: Almalfi's On The Water Restaurant

Newport Cultural Center 5k run/Walk & 1-Mile Fun Run, Saturday, September 18th, 2010
Registration begins at 9am. Fun run at 10am. 5K at 10:30. Free t-shirts to the first 25 registered participants. Prizes to the 1st place finisher in each age group. Free light BBQ and refreshments after the event. Registration fee: $5 for fun run; $15 for 5K. For more information, email kcbncarter@msn.com or call 207-368-2038. All proceeds will benefit the Newport Cultural Center Public Library and Historical Society.
